Dr. Parag Shah did a reverse shoulder replacement surgery on my left shoulder in December 2022. Prior to this surgery, I had not been able to move my wrist from side to side at all. My thumb had no power. I could not bend my arm from the elbow. Lifting or moving my arm in any direction was impossible. I could not take my arm to the back or neck. I could not comb my hair. Lifting anything was impossible. In fact, I was hardly able to use my left arm which was in constant pain 24 x7. I could not do anything without help. Following the surgery, I am now able to use my left arm completely. I can not lift heavy items but I can do my routine tasks, like cooking, washing, bathing and managing my personal hygiene by myself. I feel independent again. As a result of all the benefits, I am considering a shoulder replacement surgery in my right shoulder very soon. I would recommend Dr. Parag Shah to anyone considering a shoulder replacement surgery.
